Meet at Dwellingup Adventures opposite the Community Hotel at 9.15am before heading to the Murray River and Baden Powell Water Spout on the Dwellingup Adventures bus for your big raft start. Dwellingup Adventures 2 person rafts commence further downstream at a private orchard entry. After a shore and water based safety and skills brief you commence your 12km trip to Scarp Pool. Big rafts run the 4 metre drop off the Baden Powell Water Spout. It then becomes more gentle, with long stretches of forest-lined banks before our next set of grade 2 and 3 rapids. The trip is suitable for novices of all ages with children from 10 years welcome when accompanied by a parent. Trips run with a minimum group booking of 10 persons depending on availability and suitable river conditions. Season usually August to October depending on rainfall patterns. All you need to bring is a change of clothes, swimwear, a towel and your spirit of adventure!
