The Church Collective

St. John’s Church, 1 Henry Street, Pinjarra 

The St John’s Church Collective invites you to explore a vibrant and diverse exhibition showcasing sculpture, ceramics, printmaking, textiles, and jewellery. This unique exhibition is set within the historic St John’s Church in Pinjarra, an extraordinary venue not usually open to the public. Built in 1860, the church is one of the oldest surviving church buildings in Western Australia and an early example of a small rural church designed in a rustic British architectural style. The space itself is rich with character, featuring stunning leadlight windows, graceful archways, and beautifully preserved wooden elements, creating an inspiring setting that enhances the artistic experience.

Discover colour, creativity, and community with the Pinjarra Patchwork & Quilters. Based in the Old School House this welcoming group brings makers of all skill levels together to share ideas, stories, and a love of quilting. Visitors are invited to drop in, enjoy the atmosphere, and watch the magic unfold, while browsing beautiful handmade quilts and unique pieces for sale. It’s a perfect spot to get inspired… and maybe even join in.

Nu.Arts Collective is a vibrant artisan gallery in the heart of Pinjarra, showcasing a dynamic mix of ever-changing works. Featuring around 60 artists at any time, it’s a treasure trove of unique, handcrafted pieces to inspire and delight. Located in the historic Liveringa Gallery, visitors can enjoy live artist demonstrations on the veranda. It’s an experience not to miss.

Looking for a splash of creativity? The Murray District Arts and Craft Society is a vibrant hub of local artists working across painting, pottery, textiles, jewellery, woodcraft, and more. Visit the retail gallery, enjoy a coffee nearby, and wander the gardens, it’s the perfect place to relax and be inspired.

Peel Printmaking is a dedicated studio within Murray Arts and Crafts, based in Terry's Room. Home to a large etching press, members explore techniques from relief and intaglio to screen-printing and monoprints. Visitors to the Pinjarra Art Trail are welcome to experience printmaking in action, learn about the processes behind the work, and even get involved through hands-on activities.
