Plein Air Down Under

Plein Air Down Under invites artists of all skill levels to join the fun of Western Australia’s largest outdoor painting festival.

Held in both historic Pinjarra and coastal Mandurah, Plein Air Down Under includes a number of pre-festival workshops and activities designed the celebrate the art of painting outdoors. There is something for all artists and creatives at Plein Air Down Under. From sketching and drawing in charcoal, pencil and pastels, to painting in watercolour, acrylics and oils, and everything in between!

Plein Air Down Under festival visits Pinjarra with free family-friendly activities around town. Watch the artists painting along the Pinjarra Heritage Trail and in the grounds of Edenvale Heritage Precinct. Join the art activities for both children and adults, or watch feature artist painting demonstrations.
