
Plein Air Down Under Pinjarra
Plein Air Down Under invites artists of all skill levels to join the fun of Western Australia’s largest outdoor painting festival.
Held in both historic Pinjarra and coastal Mandurah, Plein Air Down Under includes a number of pre-festival workshops and activities designed the celebrate the art of painting outdoors. There is something for all artists and creatives at Plein Air Down Under. From sketching and drawing in charcoal, pencil and pastels, to painting in watercolour, acrylics and oils, and everything in between!
On Sunday, 25 September, Pinjarra and the Edenvale Heritage Precinct comes alive with plein air artists painting live around town and the Pinjarra Heritage Trail
Artwork will be exhibited and available for sale at the end of each day. Over $8,000 in cash and prizes are on offer for artists accepting the challenge of capturing the character and beauty of region’s natural and built environment.
All registered artists are eligible for the awards and cash prizes, and registrations are now open.
