Plein Air Down Under

Plein Air Down Under invites artists of all skill levels to join the fun of Western Australia’s largest outdoor painting festival.

Held in both historic Pinjarra and coastal Mandurah, Plein Air Down Under includes a number of pre-festival workshops and activities designed the celebrate the art of painting outdoors. There is something for all artists and creatives at Plein Air Down Under. From sketching and drawing in charcoal, pencil and pastels, to painting in watercolour, acrylics and oils, and everything in between!

Highlights of the 2025 Plein Air Down Under Festival include brilliant workshops and masterclasses, painting demonstrations, exhibitions plus over $12,000 in awards and prizes for participating artists.
